Microsoft Start partners earn money from ad revenue sharing and, if enabled, publisher support. Microsoft Start Partner Hub uses a third-party service provider, Stripe, to connect to your bank and process payments. For questions about Stripe, contact Stripe support.
On the Microsoft Start Partner Hub dashboard, click Payment Account in the navigation bar at left.
Click Add Payment Account.
A Microsoft XPay window will pop up. Enter the information requested to set up or connect your Stripe Account. Stripe will send a verification email to the address you provide. Remember to check your spam filters if you can’t find it in your inbox.
Click Submit. Your payment account status will display as Verifying.
Once approved, your payment account status will change to Active. Approval typically takes one to two business days.
Make Changes to a Payment Account
Click Manage on the Payment Account page to open a dialogue window where you can change your banking info at any time. Changes will have to be verified before your payment account returns to Active status.
Troubleshooting Payment Accounts
Payment account status is displayed on the Payment Account page of Microsoft Start Partner Hub. Accounts that are not in good standing will show an error. Please click Manage to navigate to the payment processor’s site and resolve the related issue.
