I don't use the RSS but I do use the wp plugin and you can't edit that content.

We are not linked to MSN with an RSS feed. But we are able to customize our RSS feed for other platforms.

I am doing it manually as it is chaotic from the blog. Manually gives me more flexibility to remove all the links before posting, thus not having to be rejected. I also like to set it up a bit differently, more news-like of a setup than a blog post. I hope it makes sense to you.
