moderator request
I had a story about a family weekend getaway in Quebec rejected for foul language and reference to self-harm or suicide, both of which are unlikely. While searching for help, one page said "If you believe that a post has been rejected in error, you can flag it for review by a moderator with the appeal function." What is this? And how do you do it?
The same post also mentions an appeal Button. But I've never seen this anywhere. What is it?
Here is the page.

There has been a soft launch of the new appeals button next to rejected and under review articles. You can click "more details" then request to appeal it where it will go to a human moderator to check and push through.
Could you all send me links of articles that are getting rejected? @Amy @Audrey @eileen @Giangi @Paige

All of the posts I uploaded today were rejected for this same reason, and my posts are also all travel related.

Same here with my recipes. I am sure it is a glitch

@Piper do you know if this is a glitch and if it's been fixed?

I had it happen yesterday too. My potato skins recipe might be "to die for" 🤣 but, I didn't use that expression or anything else that would trigger the rejection.
I just added a space to my article then deleted it (so my article registered as "edited") and resubmitted. It went through the second time.

I just had a post published on the 16th, which quickly became my most successful of the month, suddenly unpublished for the same reason. Now I'll grant you, my post is on tips for buying kitchen knives. But there is definitely no reference to suicide, nor is there foul language.

@Piper I don't have any. I got mine to push through by making the system think I had edited it (adding a space and then deleting it) and then resubmitted.
But thanks for going the extra mile and checking.

@Piper they all went thru after receiving an email that there was an internal issue and that they will all be handled. Republish them and all worked beautifully so far. Thank you.

@Piper All of mine went through sometime over the weekend. I didn't get any email about them and I didn't republish them like others did, so something must have gotten worked out on the backend. Just checked and we're all good!

I got the email, too, republished and everything is fine. Also I don't have the button. I have four articles that got stuck in under review in Sept/October, there's no button and they've never moved.

I wrote to support and they pushed it through. Thanks!

@Giangi Who sent you the email about the internal issue?

@Piper Sorry I did not keep the email as the issue was resolved but I sent everything in to partnerhubsupport@microsoft.com

@Piper This happened to all of my posts again today, and I still don't see an appeals button

An article I was updating got stuck in moderation yesterday and it's still there. I also have a recipe from November stuck in review. How do I get them out?

@Amy Please submit a support ticket with the names and dates of the articles!

Many of my posts are frequently rejected with no rhyme or reason. And a few are often flagged with self-harm or suicide which is absurd because the article is about How to Dress for Your Age. I saw the appeals function one time which was helpful, but having to send an email to support everytime articles are rejected is highly inconvenient.

@Khoi Is the Appeals button not visible to all your rejected articles?

@Piper I did report it and have yet to receive a response. Do you know about how long they're taking to respond? In addition, I realized today that I have articles that show as published but they became unpublished somehow. I had one I was trying to update and republish and it wouldn't. Looked in my Wordpress dashboard and discovered it was showing as not published but in my Microsoft dashboard is showed as published. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a more efficient way to deal with it?

@Amy Partner Hub Support should be responding within a few days. Have you checked your spam folder? That is an odd issue for your articles unpublishing. Please submit another support ticket to have them investigate that as well! Thank you!

@Piper no, there's nothing in my spam and still no response. I'm going to open a second ticket.

@Amy Apologies for the trouble, but yes please open another ticket :)

@Piper The appeals button is not visible for any rejected article.

@Piper my support ticket from 2 weeks ago went unanswered and I wrote again last Thursday about content in moderation and yet again got no response.

@Piper I'm still having an issue where you'll reject a post for broken links and I'll go through and fix them and it will be rejected again. I go through it again to make sure I haven't missed anything, but no matter what I do the post keeps getting rejected for broken links. Then I copy and paste it as a newly created post and it goes right through. I feel like once the system has rejected something once or twice it just won't accept it.
